How it works

Sit down, order a Rassegna dish or menu, and the rest takes care of itself.

  1. A gift with every dish

Every Rassegna dish or menu you order entitles you to a gift, handed to you by the place itself.

  2. The loyalty passport

Every dish also earns you a stamp on the loyalty passport. Collect the stamps of 8 different places and the complete passport wins you the loyalty prize.

  3. The children’s dish

Some places offer the children’s dish, meant for the youngest guests: with a small gift and the chance to take part in the drawing competition. It does not entitle you to the gift or to the stamp on the passport.

  4. The wine of the Rassegna

Every year a competition reserved for the Canton’s producers chooses, in a blind tasting, the wine of the Rassegna, offered at a promotional price in every participating place. The one for edition 63 has still to be announced by the Committee.

The Rassegna’s restaurants

29 restaurants in 16 towns and villages

Restaurants, grotti — the region’s traditional stone taverns — and osterie, each with its address, telephone, meal times and closing day on its own page. Tables are booked with them directly.

What the Committee has published.

  1. Ticino a te: local and genuine

The Centro di competenze agroalimentari Ticino (CCAT) brings the region’s producers and products together: 224 producers and distributors, some of them certified with the Ticino regio.garantie mark of origin. The Rassegna points out the places that use Ticinese products in their dishes by putting the Ticino a te logo on their page.

  2. Drawing competition 2023: the winners at the Toc Toc Bottega in Mendrisio

The competition, in three age categories, called on the Rassegna’s small gourmets to show their flair. The prize-giving was held on 12 December at the Toc Toc Bottega in Mendrisio, and the young artists’ works stayed on show until after Epiphany.

  3. Drawing competition: the prize-giving at the Zig Zag

Every year many young artists, as well as taking part in the Rassegna, enter the drawing competition, sponsored by the Zig Zag toy shop, which provides the winners’ prizes and hosts the prize-giving.

  4. The covers of the Rassegna booklet

A collection of all the booklet’s covers: every year the photograph that wins the competition becomes the image of the edition, printed on the wine labels, on the official booklet, on the posters and on the menu cards.
